Mountain Ash,

The North-Eastern mountains have long been thought completely mundane, until today where large plumes of smoke have risen into the sky. Ash and debris have been thrown up into the air, and citizens have reported that the brontide "shook [them] to their bones."

Those deemed low-priority have taken to the somewhat flooded south caves to hideout from the radiation, mild rioting, and nuclear snow. Officials have warned against this as the caves still contain vast amounts of toxic chemicals, civilians say they "don't care"
